The Role

  • Lead new product innovation, design, and production development and research.
  • Manage and develop continuous production improvement projects, guiding team members to success.
  • Combine hands-on skills with technical solutions to drive results.
  • Assist in production development and processing requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to ensure smooth operations.

Example Project: You’ll tackle exciting challenges like developing a semi-automated process for parts requiring an embossed surface finish, ensuring quality and productivity.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong hands-on manufacturing skills and experience.
  • Excellent technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven project management skills with strong verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings.
  • Beneficial: CAD/CAM understanding and ability.
  • Desirable: Experience with foam/wood fabrication.
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or fabrication estimating.
  • Strong mathematical skills and proficiency with statistics and specifications.
  • Understanding of 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
