Meet Chloe: Sales Admin and Customer Care at Kewell Converters

Meet Chloe: Sales Admin and Customer Care at Kewell Converters

Chloe joined our team in March this year, stepping into the dual role of sales admin and customer care. From day one, she has exceeded her own expectations and those of her colleagues. With her remarkable blend of professionalism and approachability, Chloe has become an integral and dependable part of our family-run foam conversion business.

A day in the life

Chloe’s typical day can involve managing up to a dozen orders, liaising with customers at every stage of the project to ensure clear seamless communication, whilst in constant contact with production. She works on a vast range of foam projects which can involve manufacturing foam inserts and foam panels to foam strips, and tubing, all products that are used in industries such as medical and healthcare and aviation.

“My job is what I expected and so much more.”

One of the most high profile and exciting projects Chloe has worked on involved a F1 racing team. She helped to develop the packaging for the car batteries used for the racing team using seven precision-cut blocks of foam, all seamlessly integrated into a case provided by the racing team.

At Kewell Converters’ a day is never dull and Chloe loves to see new products on the factory floor particularly the brightly coloured swim floats shaped like frogs floating around the factory and finds it humbling knowing that foam pads she deals with provide seating comfort for disabled children in wheelchairs.  The work and products that appear change from day to day and it’s exciting to see and hear all the machines in action that help transform foam into these complex and precise foam parts used in different parts of the supply chain.

Delivering speed and efficiency

Chloe takes immense pride in pushing through urgent and time sensitive orders with speed and efficiency and much to the appreciation of our customers. While most orders are processed within one to two weeks, Chloe has arranged for next-day delivery when needed.

“Nothing is too much trouble for everyone.  We all pull the stops out for our customers and work as a team.”

A commitment to learning

Chloe is eager to further her knowledge within the foam fabrication industry so she can help advise her clients learning more about the various types of foam, their performance and the best applications for each. Her proactive approach drives both her personal development and the quality of service we deliver to our clients. And keen to further her knowledge, our customer care lead will become more involved with attending events and trade shows to help and advise our customers.

The power of generations in business

Kewell Converters is built on family values and ethics, which resonate deeply with Chloe. Everyone pulls together, ensuring that every task is completed to the highest standard. Chloe’s family members each play a role in the business too—her mum works in accounts, and her sister is part of the assembly and finishing team.

“There is a drive for us to work together, to get the job out of the door.”

Chloe wanted to pursue a customer-facing role where she could engage with people and build relationships. Her experience here has surpassed her expectations, strengthening her conviction that she’s found her niche. Working in a family-run business where ethics and integrity run deep, Chloe appreciates the collaborative spirit that permeates the company.

Chloe’s career as Sales Admin and Customer Care specialist is a perfect match for her skills and aspirations. Surrounded by her family and a supportive team, Chloe is excited about what the future holds.  The future is bright for Chloe and we are proud to have her as part of the Kewell Converters team.
